The Plan
I love sculpting realistic characters, but had never taken one all the way to being 'game ready'. This guy was a great opportunity to learn things like hair cards, advanced shaders, and painting skin textures. For guidance, I looked at the 'Photorealistic Character' project in the Unreal marketplace.
Itβs Alive!
After getting some more experience rigging, I wanted to add to my rigs with some animator-friendly blend shapes. I had some experience with that process, but not with a realistic character like this. It gave me the opportunity to work with more complex emotions and expressions.
